Winter Projects!

Everyone needs a good make-over every now and again and so did these hand-me-down chairs. Winter is a great time to get all those indoor projects out of the way. I've been working on my dinning room chairs and I have to say I'm pretty proud. Nothing makes me feel better than taking something old and making it new, it's great for the environment and the pocket book!

Painting and Crafting

I'm painting the kitchen/dining room today, I'm so excited! The color is called fusilli, it's like a yellowy, orange, cream color. That's the best I can describe it?! I've also took apart the ugly 60's chairs to paint and recover in a nice blue and brown shantung fabric. They are going to look fantastic when it's all done!

So while I'm waiting for coats of paint to dry I'd thought I'd tell you about these new tags I listed. Each one is hand punched, painted, and assembled by moi and finished off with some organic chenille.


And these little flower embellishments look good enough to eat.
I hand painted each one, then added a little glitter for some extra magic!
